Meet the Doctor
Robert Shapiro, MD, FACS, is a Board Certified Surgeon who opened his practice in Reno, Nevada in 1992. Due to a need in the community for a dedicated hair restoration center, he has now opened the Surgical Hair Center of Nevada where he performs follicular unit micrograft surgery and consults with clients on alternative treatments for alopecia.

Dr. Shapiro's intent is to provide hair loss solutions to the region, whether surgical or otherwise. Several products have either been proven to offset hair loss or show promise. Several of these products such as Propecia©, Copper Peptides, and laser therapy are available here and Dr. Shapiro will be glad to discuss these during a one on one complimentary consultation.

Dr. Shapiro is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of the Southwestern Surgical Congress, the Washoe County Medical Society, the Nevada State Medical Association, and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.
